Guest guest
--- Karen, thank you for sharing your " sound reaction experiences " ....Myself I live in a place that I find more that challenging when it come to sound. Wishing nothing but peace getting all the rest...it has been a hard school.....it is not that I get used to the sounds so I no longer hear them or grew to enjoy them...I do hear them but I am more " immunized " ....staying centered.... What I learned also and didn't mention in my previous post is that I discovered a person is not so disturbed by a sound if s/he have a control over it....it is your choice .....the other will not have any say about when it starts or when it ends....so s/he feels more easily victimized.... Yet in one of the moments of clarity I experienced that everything becomes just a sound arising... falling...there is no disturbance....no preference for this or that...when the sound is without an attached meaning..it just is..and it doesn't matter what it is.... Thanks Karen and JB...you made me realize I am not alone in this coping with a sounding surrounding... Now is it fair or not...the question perhaps doesn't apply... greetings caiti Find a job, post your resume. http://careers.
