Guest guest
Hello A always troublemaker question to me in non-dualists are following: Nisargadatta says you must at first realize " who YOU are not.......and clean your MIND of conflicts... Well.... Where is this ME that's gonna to realize anything? Where is a MIND that can be cleaned of anything? And.....If I just can't do anything positively to get enlightment......Why those named " enlightened men " talk about this? Why don't they just shut up? What the hell are they talking about? What they want by talking? Can those men gimme something?.....What is the use of reading Nisargadatta for example? In this point I think that Yoga is most " pragmatic " ....you just have to do exercises and obtain results...simple! But I'm not criticizing anybody...Those are just questions.... Why don't they just shut up? What the hell are they talking about? What they want by talking? Can those men gimme something?..... KKT: Yes, you can do << something >> positively to get enlightenment. This << something >> is PERCEPTION (or INSIGHT) THERE IS ONLY PERCEPTION AND NOTHING ELSE :-)) -------------------------- What is the use of reading Nisargadatta for example? KKT: To regurgitate some ... pleasure :-)) Remember that thinking gives pleasure. We probably have Balsekar to 'thank' for that one :-/. Sit up straight, recite " all there is, is consciousness " 100 times while nodding head, repeat once per day. Try to get a few 'reps' in during while watching TV during the commercials (at least, the commercials you don't like). Bleh... :-P Peace, Tim
