Every human being that has ever lived, is alive now, or ever will come into existence is ignorant. And, this goes double for us so called enlightened or awake ones. Triple, even. Now wait a minute here, boyo! What are you talking about? I mean, after all, by definition. Aren't you supposed to be really connected to the real reality if you are enlightened? Sure, and most positively yes, you are connected to the infinite consciousness. The thing is, it doesn't have anything to do with knowing stuff and things. Everybody knows stuff and things. What we don't know about something we will gladly manufacture out of the merest wisp of imagination. That's the easy part. The hard part is letting go of the stuff and things including what we have made up. Or bought into - same difference. OK, fine. Now, the question is, why should we have to do the hard part? Isn't the universe moving along fine? There are problems from time to time but, the world keeps turning. Also, won't our natural evolution sorta 'take care' of things? Isn't God or Something really in charge? In short, you may - at times - wonder why you even bother. There is enough to do just keeping a roof over your heads and food on the table. Heck, I wouldn't blame anybody for turning their backs on the whole spiritual scene and saying 'forget it!'. Something compels us though. There is a pull and a yearning in each and every person towards something that will give our lives, life period, meaning. But, you know all this anyway. You know what it is to want something, to work for it and the joy of achieving. Ah, if only enlightenment worked that way! Like, Friend - It's the Doing that can't be Done. It does get done just the same. Well, what does all this blabber have to do with enlightened folk being triply ignorant? That's simple. Just ask anybody you consider to be enlightened, up to and including your own humble self, just ask them to put IT into words! They may certainly expound with some degree of eloquence and fill your head full of ideas and overload your emotions until you are too blissful walk straight, let alone drive. Even I - The Only Truly Enlightened Being in the ENTIRE Universe - cannot write the words that will cause anybody to immediately become enlightened. I don't even like to talk about how wonderful it is to be, you know, like one with everything. I can tell you how to be The Only Truly Etc. OK OK so it's just something for you to try. heeheehee Simply stop believing in anything. Let the crystals drop on the floor along side the tarot cards and the astrology charts. Chuck all the religious books and scriptures into the trash bin. Let it all go. Quit thinking and hoping that someday you'll get it. Put a halt to blaming yourself or congratulating yourself on your degree of (non)-attainment. Stop channeling, working out karmic debt, consulting ascended masters, and communing with spirits and angels. Cease taking trips to holy places, attending satsang, churches, temples, holy mountains, and other such places. Put and end to having visions, seeing light forms and all yoga and kundalini practices. End your striving for higher consciousness and you are there. See, simple isn't it? hahahah and hohoho! at play in the fields of eternity - michael -- thewaystation freeshirts
