Guest guest
By that definition nothing is real, since every *thing* changes. Apparently there area at least "two" uni-verses touching themselves here: "That" one that NEVER changes, "ThatYOU", the "Observer", "It" and the "things" uni-verse.... "I" agree that "It" is not a "thing" But "It" is also so un-describle as any other "thing". Words, any word, are only "traffic signs" that point to our focus but not "define" what we are "talking" about. like pointing to the moon...... anyway.... without this other thing called "memory" how could we know that anything could ever change or not change???? "Iam" not sure but "I" think "Iremember" have read somewhere that Shankara once said "The Real is the relative and the relative is the Real... so let's move on"..... - fewtch Nisargadatta Wednesday, December 19, 2001 1:24 AM Re: Real and Ilusory Nisargadatta, "e-agora..." <e-agora...@u...> wrote:> "REAL" is that NEVER changes...> "ilusory" is that changes... 'it' neither affirms nor denies, while language affirms only.So discussing "reality" is as foolish as it gets -- language can't capture (or even point to) reality. Sometimes it makes quite a spectacle though :-).
