This list is for those who for whatever reason, and in whatever way,

fall outside commonly accepted " social norms " of Western society, and

wish to explore interacting with others who are also *unique* in

every sense of the word. It isn't for those with violent

or " sociopathic " tendencies, so if you fall into these categories,

please go elsewhere.

 

We're also not interested in so-called " alternate lifestyles, " which

are just well-disguised conformist groups.

 

We don't want to create a " club of social misfits " here, or take away

your individuality -- on the contrary, we want to enhance it and

provide a forum for open, honest discussion. The only guidelines to

follow are those of openness, honesty, tolerance and democracy.

Topics may vary depending on who says what -- this isn't

a " spiritual " list, but it often happens that those who " fall between

the cracks " or otherwise don't quite fit into established social

frameworks may have something to say in that department, and may be

able to offer some very freeing, refreshing and unique viewpoints.

 

A sense of humor is essential! In case you didn't notice, even the

title of this group suggests humor. We want to keep this a place to

enjoy, not to avoid.

 

This list is an experiment, and is subject to being closed

immediately and without notice. Please remember that those who are

d here are individuals in the true sense of the word, and

may not care for your ideas of correct behaviors, beliefs or

attitudes. If you wish to convert others to your personal religion,

spiritual viewpoint or outlook on life, please go elsewhere.

However, you may share your views (what else is a mailing list for?),

as long as you realize nobody here is necessarily going to agree.
