Guest guest
Thankyou John for the nice story, it definetely feels like I'm not alone anymore, and yet I am. I had an amazing meditation which I wanted to share. While meditating on " I am " I noticed how the mind kept jumping from Mario the person, to the state of beingness alone. I noticed that the more I took my interest away from the person and the more I focused on being without shape or name, the easier it became to rest in that state and the more I understood it. I think that in meditation and life you start off with a set of scales; on one side of the scales you have desires, on the other you have beingness, the scales are heavily weighted on the side of desires. As we take away the weight of our interest from our desires and we bring it towards our Self, there comes a point at which the scales tip over and we begin to rest for longer and longer periods in the state of being, the state free from attributes, our natural state.
