How exiting!!, So welcome to Matthew and Sundeep, or was it Sandeep?. To Matthew, Praise and Blame are part and parcel of thinking you are a person. The basic problem is that we are still attached to being a person. Take time to question who am I? and trust Nisargadatta when he says you are not a person. Spend time with yourself observing your mind and contemplating your true Self, the witness of all your thoughts, the state of pure being. Watch your mind, see the false (Discrimination) and discard it everytime (Detachment). use as much of your time as possible to understand and expand your awareness of I am. Anything you can perceive, including your thoughts is false and therefore not you. Become aware of the watcher of all your thoughts. Become aware of your own awareness. Desires and Fears pull us this way or that, they come up when we forget who we are, the antidote is to remember, so remember your Self, and bring your awareness back to it again and again. Desire to be liked and respected is just a desire, discard it and remember that only the Self exists. Desire brings fear and fear brings desire, so discard them both. To Sundeep, One day I'll go back to India and I will visit you my friend and after having satsang with you I will go to Ganeshpuri and visit my guru's ashram.
