Guest guest
Oh my God! Dan, I really wonder what purpose your post has served.. but that (my wondering) is not the important thing for you. I suggest... you reflect over this post. Why do you write here? Do you write here to share your understanding and with the intention that it may help another? Or ... Do you write here to keep yourself occupied & pass your time? Or ... It's just a mechanical flow... some comments evoke some thoughts in you & this is the forum where these find expression. Really, I hope you ponder over what you are doing here. I'm speculating here... but I think you may well be tempted to express some advaitist concepts which would not really have any value...let me give 2 examples (of what, in my opinion would be useless comments/questions)... There is no purpose... How can someone help another when there is no other? I wish you well. Sundeep > > Ah -- so that's your story about " all of us. Guest guest
I'm sorry, but it seems there is some misunderstanding. I used this quote to show how advaitist concepts can be misunderstood. > > " How can someone help another when there is no other? " > Sundeep. > > > Can I not help Myself? > El > > > . You are seeking to find why's, I see. Good luck with your quest :-) " What is " doesn't provide why's, which exist only for the causally-focused mind ... And " what is " provides all why's, constituted to satisfy an inquiring mind, for the moment in which mind believes it requires a " why " ... and thus temporarily takes itself as a mind that has a why ... > > Do you write here to share your understanding and with the intention > that it may help another? > Or ... > Do you write here to keep yourself occupied & pass your time? > Or ... > It's just a mechanical flow... some comments evoke some thoughts in > you & this is the forum where these find expression. Pick any of these stories that satisfies you in this moment. Or not. :-) > > Really, I hope you ponder over what you are doing here. Yes, you are speculating here. An accurate observation. :-) > > There is no purpose... > How can someone help another when there is no other? > > I wish you well. Thanks for your well wishes and other comments. All very purposeful and helpful, I'm sure :-) Dan > > Sundeep > > > > > > > > > Ah -- so that's your story about " all of us.
