Even closer than eyeball to eyeball --

Who is looking into this, right now,

from the " other side of your eyeball? "

Who this is, on the other side of your eyeball

doesn't go away when you watch a television show,

and doesn't care at all, not even one little bit,

whether or not you're encountering a great guru, a CD,

a tradition, or a dog turd.

It's the " me " who cares about these things which invents

the dog-and-pony shows of various sorts.

You can call this " who " looking into you

whatever you want. It doesn't care what

you call it, because it's not affected by

what you name things, or your perspective,

or belief, or friends, or rememberances.
