Guest guest
One thing's certain, Dan's not Zen. I could make sense of that poetry! :-) And Dan, how right you are! Word offer themselves as drunken multicoloured dragons but lose ability to make sense. Anyway, who wants to make sense out of anything. That is why Ramesh Balsekar says " Forget th etaechings.Let them work at whatever level they do " The mind doing what it is adept at doing objectivizes everything including spirituality.Shy off it! Mu, Anand. ______________________ For live cricket scores download Score Tracker at: http://in.sports./cricket/tracker.html

There's something ironic, poetically humorous, pneumatically touching, about the endless verbiage, wit, wisdom, relational syntax and keyboard effort expended to "shy off it". (present submission included) Thus, Ezra Pound, "What is the use of talking? Yet, there is no end of talking For there is no end of things in the heart." Guest guest
That's the paradox, Colin. Whatever we say will remain " drunken dragons " . Beyond the " dragons " lie the " heavens " . And the " dragons " can only lead the way, commiting hara-kiri at the end of the pathless journey... May I take wisdom off that list. I prefer my original : " bullshit " ! :-) Ezra Pound would have to be talking about the mind. There is only one Heart Be (do not become) it, Anand. --- Colin Yardley <yardley wrote: > > - > Anand Eswaran > Nisargadatta > Monday, April 22, 2002 9:24 PM > Re: Dan the poet? > > > > > One thing's certain, Dan's not Zen. Guest guest
'What is the use of talking, yet there is no end of talking For there is no end of things in the heart?' - Ezra Pound Anand Eswaran wrote: Ezra Pound would have to be talking about themind. There is only one HeartBe (do not become) it,Anand. Colin replies: No, Pound was talking about the heart. There is not "only one Heart" as in one bland, homogenous super heart where we're all one. The Great Heart is the One beyond number. It has nothing to do with singularity or with the prime digit 1. It also has nothing to do with us all realizing the same thing or all agreeing with one another, heaven forbid. Those of us who presume, or even perceive, that we have tripped the light monastic and become One With All have most likely only succumbed to the Archetype of Spirit, for which such troublesome psychological terms as 'inflation' and 'grandiosity' apply. Guest guest
You are right , Colin. It should have been " the " Heart , not one Heart (that brings in all it's singular connotations and therefore singularity versus multiplicity concepts). What do you specifically mean by " tripping the light monastic " Let's be clear on that. Anand. --- Colin Yardley <yardley wrote: > 'What is the use of talking, yet there is no end of > talking > For there is no end of things in the heart?' > - Ezra Pound > Anand Eswaran wrote: > Ezra Pound would have to be talking about the > mind. There is only one Heart > > Be (do not become) it, > Anand. > > > Colin replies: > No, Pound was talking about the heart.
