Guest guest
I tell my partner I watch sports because of the deep metaphysical import some commentary has when isolated from the game context and considered on its own as pithy truth. After seeing this list, I think she’s buying it: The intangibles will be the key. Nobody expected a turn of events like we’re seeing now. Time is running out on the Penguins. You take what the defense gives you. It’s always harder to steal home. This game has gone true to form. They have to remember what got them here. If you lose, you go home. They’re still missing a few pieces of the puzzle. The clock is their enemy now. They’re making a lot of unforced errors. They can still try the ‘Hail Mary.’ They have to eliminate the mental mistakes. We had our chances but we let them slip away. A lot of the faithful are heading for the exits.
