Guest guest
Dear Dan, That is the Divine joke , the ultimate paradox , isn't it? No matter whatEVER we do (with our freakin' brains) , we're still rooted in concepts. And the moment we get beyond the concepts ( say resting in the I AM ), there are really no you and me. The only thing from the Beyond we have is faith that has been implanted into us(grace of the guru : another concept). Thus living in this world of concepts, we take it on " faith " (another concept) that he world is " illusory " and " virtual " (all concepts :-) ) . So, all we have is an image of imagelessness, which again is in phenomenality, hence conceptual. But that faith, don't you think, Dan, is a " beautiful " concept because the concept of the " living dream " has so effortlessly reaffirmed the concepts of " love " , " clarity " and " peace " to the apparatus that is Anand. In fact these concepts have caused him to become exceedingly " peaceful " and " happy " (all concepts :-D ), in fact so much so that he doesn't want " enlightenment " anymore. happiness is here and now and I am extremely happy . So who want's the carrot called enlightenment anyway? And the truth( to u and me the Truth again is just a concept, so we'll currently do away with the capitals) we believe in is henceless meaningless because it again depends on other concepts for it's validity,ad infinitum. Namaste, Anand. >The issue of conceptuality is difficult to grasp. >Grasping it requires nongrasping, that is, >nonconceptual being. >So, whatever is occurring for you or me is >conceptual, whether > that be getting worked up or not getting worked up. >Having a reason to get worked up, or knowing there is > no reason to get worked up -- each are conceptual >stances, > and whatever conceptual happening occurs here, seems > true conceptually, while it is perceived to > be occurring here. > When you realize that you're living in > a dream, that realization also > is occurring in a dream. >Recognizing anything as occurring or not occurring > is within a dream > (also known as " phenomenality " ) :-) >.Yes, this is quite true. >A Western saying has it, " In God we trust, all others >pay cash ... " >:-) >-- Dan ______________________ For live cricket scores download Score Tracker at: http://in.sports./cricket/tracker.html
Guest guest
Hi Anand -- Thanks for what you share here. " The truth shall set you free. " Not a concept shall set you free ... just the truth ... And it is so ... beyond beliefs ... " The Tao cannot be told in a way that will not make them laugh about it -- were it not so, it would not be the Tao " ...
