New to this group, gee, what was I searching for?

Does Escapism have any meaning in the Advaita lexicon?

 

There is a Force which has fragmented into systems (e.g. militarism,

state powers, what have you), that has an effect of positive or

negative....and in varying degree, on Life, on You.

 

When Communist China moved into Tibet, the Dalai Lama fled and he

has survived to Witness the take-over of " his " country.

Who's to say whether an Action is a result of Judgement or of

Witnessing?

Perhaps the argument is that One, who is Self-Realized, Judges none

of the Phenomena, They Witness it. And as a Witness, there is no

Judgement, no Slander.

If someone who has been attacked (e.g., the esteemed Monk), but does

not express Judgement against their attacker, it does not mean that

their " reaction " is absent of judgement.

 

This Witnessing, it seems to me, is a luxury of some Humans...oh yes,

a Priceless (spirituallY) One, but still a luxury. In a time of

Peace, which is the State of Your Society, there's plenty Inaction

parading as " Witnessing " to Go Around.

 

Of course, that is irrelevant to You, in a Concentration Camp, as a

detainee, You will have Your Witness; if they Come to take Your Land,

there is no Cause to Judge...

 

The state powers could not pose a problem for You, you are

Inviolable; if they shake your Tree, well you will simply fly away.

Simple. When the German came, some Jews could afford to Escape to

America, some well, you know...

 

If M.Gandhi returns, fine..if Hitler returns, fine.....(since there

is no Reincarnation anyway).

 

How do I ignore that I am under the Boot of the Landlords and my

fellows are under the Boot of the Land Rapers? The Guys with their

fingers on the Button of Nuclear RedSky...

 

Tend my Garden and Witness the Ebb and Flow of the Nonself until it

Disappears, huh?

 

Pardon me, really...just abit of Angst, admit my own Tension...

 

I do appreciate Nisgadatta teachings (I AM That) but the Wisdom slips

between my fingers....
