" This discussion group is dedicated to the teachings of Advaita Vedanta

Master Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. "

Please let me know when the list returns to topic and I'll sign up again

if it's okay. It's a bit too negative and angry for me at this time.

So, Jerry --

You want to stay on-topic, and

anger and negativity are not on-topic?

You'll come back when we're

addressing something that Maharaj

teaches, but his teachings don't

address anger and negativity?

Is that it?

Or do you mean that he taught to

leave when people seem angry or

negative?

Hmmm... I remember someone saying

that Maharaj was known to get

angry himself at times?

Ah, who knows?

Not me --

Yes, there's been some energy here for a few days.

Merry muppets to you, too!

Dear List,

I (too) have been enjoying the " out " nature of the list the past few

days. I find the spontaneous, raw and unscensored nature of the

responses to be revealing and insightful in their own way. A lot gets

exposed that might not otherwise surface. And, at least in part, we have

Judy (a.k.a 'Hitler' to some) to thank.

Rather refreshing, really.

But then again, I'm not a big fan of 'elevator music' either, though many

would consider it innocuous.

Namaste,

Karen

Judi, you first need to learn how to swim yourself, before you can

save " others " from drowning. Stop trying to pass yourself as the

awakened one, and focus on practice! Remember, an ounce of practice

is better than tons of theory. Next time you feel that urge to spew

venom, and repulsive negativity at those around you, take a look in

the mirror instead.

Good luck,

Mike

**** Well thank you Karen, I think?

It's all very interesting though isn't it? Getting to see the ego and

it's workings.

I had a very nice email today thanking me very much for grounding them

and how he saw how he gets carried away in his own bullshit to himself.

It was very nice. Makes it all the worthwhile for me. And that's the

direction that I try to point people to,

is back to themselves, so they can understand who they are for

themselves.

In my book, understanding is first and foremost and all the goodie

delicious stuff comes in after.
