Waiter approaches seated Patron in semi-busy Restaurant, " good day

Friend, what will you be having today? "

 

Patron: " Hmmmm...(pause)..

Waiter: " Our specials for today are:

 

" an energetically spiritual internet chat,

 

a march in Washington protesting war,

 

reading a some literature

and

drafting memos for the next tenants' meeting " ???

 

Patron: (to himself, " all concepts " )... " I'll have the chat "

 

Waiter: " very good " (.....the waiter never returns, luckily, this

restaurant has a self-service buffet and our friend has his Chat)....

Whatsoever happens in Vietnam, not only are the Nixons responsible, everybody who thinks is also responsible. Only one person can not be held responsible, and that is the person who has no mind; otherwise everybody is responsible for everything that goes on. If the earth is a hell, you are a creator, you participate."Patently negative argument, that is, to hold only "thinkers" responsible for continuing Vietnam. Since of course, "thinkers" were also responsible for protesting and ending Vietnam.Am I forgetting that Tract about "What happens, just happens or that only the low-minded think in terms of cause and effect" (my words). No, I haven't. An overemphasis on Predeterminism saps my desire to consider ideas and answers to "political" issues. Not to dwell on political issues though...a balance is maintained.elf sit at the tadle and order one internet chats as well

I could have had..

one vat of chocolate solid babies

one story of elfs and wizards magic

one fly on the back of my best bird frend

 

elf telled the waiter

one of the same as them

elf rattled her spoons

 

and the waiter bringed her her first course

 

 

When you look in, when you watch, you become aware that desire is the cause of your whole misery. Seeing it, desiring disappears -- just by seeing it, desiring disappears. Seeing that desire never leads anywhere, but that you go on moving in circles and desire goes on goading you in the same repetitive patterns, seeing this -- not because I am saying it, but seeing it on your own -- desire disappears. And the disappearance of desire is the stillness, the real stillness, I am talking about.

It brings two things to you: great strength, because all the energy that was involved in a thousand and one desires is released. Now energy no more leaks from you; you don't have any holes for it to leak from. You become a reservoir of great energy. And the second thing: because now there is no noise of desires clashing, conflicting with each other, there is no civil war going on...what to do? To be or not to be? To do this or to do that? When there is no conflict, no desire, when all the storm is gone, the silence that follows the storm, that is the stillness I am talking about.

Now what are the next course.. elf listened .. are you given me another one???

the waiter runned fast.. this are your desert the waiter telled elf.

 

And if you can love this existence, if you can feel blessed with this existence, I promise you that when you die you will not be coming back again...because you will have learned the lesson. God never sends anybody back to the school if once they have learnt their lesson.

If you can learn to rejoice, you will be accepted. Doors of higher mysteries will be opened to you. You will be welcomed into the innermost mysteries of life
