Education, to justify itself, should enable a man to use the full potential of his body, mind and spirit. It should also develop in him the ability to make the best use of his personality, surroundings and circumstances so that he may accomplish the maximum in life for himself and for others. There are tremendous latent possibilities which are never unfolded Study of the Absolute will reveal to students the great and hidden values of life which lie beyond the obvious, phenomenal phase of existence. It will give them a deeper sense of existence, a broader vision of life and insight into the unfathomable ocean of wisdom. It will also reveal to them the possibilities of attaining values in life much greater and higher than those found on the level of relative existence Present systems of education only give students superficial knowledge. There is nothing in education today to develop the inner values of mind, body and spirit. Whatever education is received is simply on the surface level. In every subject certain information is given about that subject, and if a student is able to remember the information he passes the course Is that more articulate Shinkai Yes of course how wonderful to meet those who know. I thought you were stating a profound truth There is only one Self.. but evidently not Unlikely that I will get fed up with everything either The goal of life is happiness and enjoyment and more enjoyment and more happiness.. So we'll have to take the different forks on that road " I will meditate on this " happiness and enjoyment and more enjoyment " . Life, whatever that is, is not promised. There are those who were extremely Envious of those who they perceived as " being Happy and Joyous " . They were the Comrade Maos and Comradre Stalins. Oh yes, they knew of the Joy of some people, the Enlightened Ones, the Poets, the rest and these " Leaders " , labeled them Fools and Idiots and Degenerates. Well, since they took Power (never mind what Power is...for the sake of brevity, let's consider it a " concept " ) their Tanks rolled and rolled. We have those Comrades here, in this land, the Dick Armeys, the Jerry Falwells....they are Envious but they are Relatively Impotent, for now. And anyway, I am beyond them. And I sing: " Don't Worry, Be H a p P Y " Bobby McFerrin be well, cj
