Guest guest
I am a great fan of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, although I am only 22 years old. I've felt for the last two years now, that he is the most clear and concise in tackling all possible questions. However, last night, in a discussion with my friend, we were talking about how humans see patterns in the relative world, and from that move through belief, or they basically fill in the gaps with faith. Bear with me here, somehow he connected the argument to math, and it really got me thinking. Math is known by everyone. 2+2 is known to equal 4, and although someone travelling at a different speed than us may appear to us as using a skewed math, to them it is all the same. So what then is math? Is it the supreme toolset of the absolute? Is it an accident we conjured out of the relative world? -Luke

Yes, space and time being the attributes of a life-time, everything in phenomenality can but be limited/relative. > Bear with me
>here, somehow he connected the argument to math, >and it really got me
>thinking. For eg, Einstien's principle that speed of light is an absolute constant ( c) irrespective of the frame of reference is rooted in phenomenality, assuming that there are observers to verify these statements. Math and it's utility lie, if at all , rooted in phenomenality. You have nothing to do with math, neither will you ever gain anything " useful " from it.How can you, when you are pure noumenon , pure Consciousness!
