Guest guest
Aloha! Thanks very much to Hurg and Rk Shankar for your replies!I am contemplating about your messages! Shankar: You said:"...one must keep at this, until all impressions are dissolved." Have you actually reached this point? Are you enlightened? Is anyone here enlightened?and funny question of the day:" Does it feel good to be enlightened...?" What should I do when my body hurts? (Since January 2000, I suffer from CFS. (Chronique Fatigue Syndrome))Sometimes the pain is just overwhelming. For example, I meditate on 'feeling being' and suddenly my eyes hurt like hell. I often begin to ask myself: What should I do now? Should I Focus on the pain in my eyes, or concentrating on my thoughts saying:"Gez, that hurts." Or trying to 'become' the pain? Or even focusing on my feet (sometimes as I focus on a body-part that does not hurt, the pain at another spot subsides, or I just forget about it.) And what to do about emotions. I have come to a point nowadays, where I seem to be able to be without any thoughts for about 10 min., but I certainly feel EMOTIONS during that time. For example I feel boredom very fast coming during medidation. (Is it a feeling at all, or do judge within seconds, with a thought, "this is boring" which actually then triggers the emotion boredom?!?)So, how to deal with emotions? Are they different from thought? Or like Yin and Yang? Thanks for listenting!fox aloha from Switzerland www.feel.ch - "rkshankar" <rkshankar <Nisargadatta > Friday, July 26, 2002 5:58 PM Both feeling-being and muttering 'I am' works > Dear Fox> > Attention on the 'I am feeling-being' works.> When the attention lapses, even repeating mentally the words "I am" works.> But, only one must keep at this, until all impressions are dissolved.> Only one must do this incessantly tirelessly and happily, as Bhagawan Sri> Ramana> says. Hi Fox, My late response. There is a very interesting website at www.watercure.com that may be of some assistance to you and others who suffer from chronic health problems. If I remember correctly the primary book you can order is " The body cries for water " It deals with the miracle cure of drinking not less than 8 glasses of water (with a pinch of salt) daily. Sometimes the best things are for free but then again the doctors and pharmacists might be out of business ! ~dave _______________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
