Guest guest
when friends say " let's pray " it puzzles me who's praying to whom? we want <this> or <that> so we pray to god, oh big daddy in the sky please big daddy, i desire this or that give it to me a child sends a letter to santa claus who reads the letter? maybe someone who hears our prayers? we do we pray in consciousness to consciousness as consciousness since consciousness cannot pray to itself you and god appear for the last dance together so you can whisper to god's ear " i want you...and what's more important here is the list of things that i want. " god is like captain kirk no matter what planet or alien language god can understand each prayer this is very essential since captain kirk made love to all the green women with two belly buttons you can realize this but how can anyone let go off their beloved? and why should capt kirk should let go off the green alien chick? one day it all disappears lover and beloved are gone not even a memory remains just as no one remembers the love stories told 70 big bangs ago. Guest guest
" When a man has been granted constant prayer, it will mean that he has reached the summit of all virtues & has become the abode of the Holy Spirit; for a man who has not wholly received this grace of the Comforter cannot keep this prayer in his heart with joy. Therefore it is said that when the Holy Spirit comes to live in a man, he never ceases to pray, for then the Holy Spirit constantly prays in him (Romans 8:26). Then prayer never stops in a man's soul, whether he is asleep or awake. In eating or drinking, sleeping or doing something, even in deep sleep his heart sends forth without effort the incense & sighs of prayer. Then prayer never leaves him, but at every hour, even if externally quiet, it continues secretly to act within. This is why someone has called the silence of the pure bearers of Christ ~ prayer; for their thoughts are Divine movements, & the movements of mind & heart that are pure are meek voices by which they secretly sing praises to the One who is in secret. " ~Saint Isaac the Syrian Yes, Beloved Isaac, pure bearer of silence, is it not so? 24/7 is the way it seems to go, Vasana of the last temptation of Light, this endlessness of prayer, Heart's Inquiry into Itself for the sheer joy of Itself as Silent Prayer -- " It's all praise, It's all good! " * Can you feel it? This kamikazi wind This spirit breath that sucks you in Blows you out Out into yourself The very self you have ignored The star-cream beauty Crown of the galaxies Royalty Hidden in the little nooks The little places you have Overlooked in your anatomy Your bliss body This body even now swept up In random forgetfulness Remembered suffering The imprint of unconsciousness The realization of Dharmakaya All mean nothing when the lifeforce leaves Random hearts colliding with The infinite Casually adjusting the buttons On the blouse your chest wants To burst through To explode through To waterfall out into this World, all worlds To pour into it, to Swim into it, to Die in it, die in it All of it All of it No, no This impulse will not Long be denied Don't resist Don't resist Let Go Let Go Say Yes Say Can i get a Witness? Say Praise God, God is great, There is no God but God Say What you will What wants to be said Is said Within infinite Silence Is Silence, Praising LoveAlways, b * Rumi
