Guest guest
The well-known pandit Ken Wilbur has made an interesting contribution to current spiritual/psychological literature by popularizing the (admitted) concept of Pre -, Rational, and Trans-. It is a common Category Error, for example, to confuse the pre- rational view with the trans-rational, in his terminology, which he supports with an impressive array of well-researched documentation. The claim that babies are born enlightened, for example, and then it all sort of goes down hill as they age would be considered a category error, as well as ascribing some sort of illumination to nature. The trans-rational, on the other hand, would be indicative of the state of an awakened being, who has transcended and included both the pre-rational and the rational (common pov). For further discusion, there are plenty of Wilbur sources one may refer to in this regard, if one is so inclined. LoveAlways, b
