as usual, i find myself somewhat bemused by how people tend to

project their own interpretations, pathologies, and conclusions into

poems of simple praise and joy that happen to have intimacy as a

subject. no claims or directives about " staying " anywhere or how

things may or may not work were made in the poem in question, but the

reponses here certainly seemed to trigger the old emotional/sexual

contraction.

rather than assuming that sex and spirit are necessarily

incompatible, and that intimate human relations are somehow not fit

topics for poetic exploration on an Advaitic goup, perhaps some of

that " awakened " compassion and tolerance for varieties of the way

spirit may express itself in form would serve the general

consideration and inquiry, rather than blanket judgements about

insults to some imaginary " intelligence " you believe can be offended.
