Guest guest
Harsha, I appreciate your Baring of Soul, but I must say you would be the first in the History of Peoplekind to both be self-realized AND to self-proclaim it (even with a paltry attempt to thank Bhagavan Ramana). Statistically then, you can not be both - - which one is it? (Hint) We are not on a need to know basis. Guest guest
Well, Larry, although what you say is often true, there is that legendary story about the Buddha saying that above the earth and under the heavens, I alone am the Awakened One. And Jesus, of course, saying I am the Way. So there are exceptions. Maybe Harsha is drawing a bit on those kinds of legendary tales. Is Harsha the stuff of legends, or a legend in his own mind -- who's to say? What's the difference? Speaking of drawing on tales, Harsha, I like the stuff you said about finding out it was you all the time, and it being obvious. That's very good stuff. Brings in a Zen flavor, like the stuff about the ordinary mind. I love it. Yet, I think it's a bit odd to be proclaiming such to people who you don't know well, and who don't know you well. On your own list you've been talking about how it's important to be nice to people and practice the things you learned in kindergarten. But don't they tell you in kindergarten not to brag? And to get to know people pretty well, before you start to tell them all about yourself? Maybe Jesus didn't have a grandma around to tell him this, because as history shows, it can lead to communication problems. Grandma used to tell me, Dan, you're going to have a hard time in this world, because you're sensitive, and it is a hard world.
