Guest guest
- Powell W. Woods Plan to Achieve 8000 Yogic Flyers in U.S. -- Please Pass On Last night Kingsley Brooks distributed the e-mail message that is visible below the first dotted line. We've been waiting for this moment to launch our big push to publicize the U.S. Peace Congress within the TM Movement. While waiting, we've significantly upgraded the content onsite and redirected the primary push of the site to go after raising money for the Pandits as our first priority, to be in tune with Maharishi¹s thinking. If you would consider passing on this message to any mailing list or list of meditating friends that you may have, it would be grand. Please let me know if the message needs ³tweaking² for your particular group. PLEASE NOTE: this is a better version than the one Kingsley sent out last night because some of the links in his message had small typos in them. All other content is identical. Thanks! - Paul Stokstad ------------------------- Dear Friends, This email outlines a grassroots effort to achieve Maharishi's goal of having 8000 Yogic Flyers in the U.S. Dr. Bob Wynne, the Mayor of Maharishi. Vedic City, mentioned this concept to Maharishi several times and Maharishi was very pleased. Jai Guru Dev Kingsley and Leslie kcbrooks ---------- Announcing: The U.S. Peace Congress A new organization entitled The U.S. Peace Congress has been founded recently by a group of Fairfield, Iowa, residents. The focus of the organization is to achieve Maharishi Mahesh Yogi¹s goal of having 8000 people in the U.S. collectively practicing the peace-generating technologies of Transcendental Meditation and the TM Sidhi program, including Yogic Flying. The U.S. Peace Congress will consist of three branches: 1. U.S. Peace Assembly of Vedic Pandits 2. House of U.S. Peace Representatives 3. U.S. Peace Senate. Branch 1: The U.S. Peace Assembly of Vedic Pandits will consist of 8000 trained Vedic Pandits, who in addition to their group practice will be performing Ati Rudrabhishek Maha Yagya--the special Vedic peace performance which was performed by the Kings of Vedic times. That group is to be located at Maharishi Vedic City. The construction plans for housing the Pandits are highly developed, and even include some financing options for potential investors in the project. Branch 2: The House of U.S. Peace Representatives will come from all fifty states to Fairfield in order to form a permanent group of 8000. The number of representatives required from each state is based on the percentage of the U.S. population residing in each state. The U.S. Peace Congress is raising money to pay the Representatives $24,000 annually for their participation. Branch 3: The U.S. Peace Senate will consist of the 2000 members of the Mother Divine and Purusha programs. The U.S. Peace Congress is arranging annual fund amounts for these projects in three phases: Phase I: $24 million for the U.S. Peace Assembly of Vedic Pandits Phase II: $182 million for the House of U.S. Peace Representatives Phase III: $24 million for the U.S. Peace Senate. There are four ways for people to participate in the U.S. Peace Congress U.S. Peace Representatives, participating in group flying in the domes in Fairfield, Iowa. Auxiliary U.S. Peace Representatives, who do not yet live in Fairfield but are willing to move as soon as there is funding to pay them for their participation Candidate U.S. Peace Representatives, who are not yet trained in the TM and/or TM-Sidhi Program but will agree to become full participants once there are finances to train them and also pay them the annual compensation. U.S. Peace Congress Peacemakers, who will be taking responsibility for raising money for the other three groups via innovative Internet-based " passive income " technologies. These programs are still in development but will soon be active. How anyone in the U.S. can support: 1) Go to the U.S. Peace Congress website at http://www.peacecongress.us and sign up as a Representative, Auxiliary or Candidate. If we show a lot of interest in this project, it will naturally attract donors. If we get a big group of people willing to move here, it simply becomes a matter of money. Everything else is just the same old incompetence masquerading as 'defense.' We need 8000 people, and we don't care if they are already meditating or not. When we get the money, we'll pay them to learn. Any practical person will appreciate the truth of our slogan: " If we pay them, they will come.'
