That is the Understanding.

That there is Nothing To Understand.

The movement to understand is " the me " .

When the movement to understand

comes to an end, " the me " comes to an end.

KKT: But this ending of the movement

to understand or ending of " the me "

would be << effective >> only

with the unsubscription from the list for proof :-))

Otherwise it is merely

an << intellectual >> Understanding :-))

To prefer a state of dness as

if superior to a state of dness is

to mistake nirvana as if existing apart

from samsara.

Seigen Ishin asserts,

" Before a man studies Zen, to him

mountains are mountains and waters are waters;

after he gets an insight into the truth of Zen

through the instruction of a good master,

mountains are not mountains and waters are not waters;

but after this when he really attains to the abode of rest,

mountains are once more mountains and waters are waters. "
