Guest guest
Where? Back to your Original Nature. This nature call it what you will can't be apprehended with thoughts or words. Only a direct wordless intuition or realization will reveal It to itself. Anything we say about it, is a distortion or a falsehood. We can talk about how to reach it, but never about what it is, or what it wants from us. Any belief about it, is as good as another. No matter what you say about it, you have as much chance of being right as another. Say, it's a pizza, or a computer, and you might be right. But if you are, you will never know, so what's the point of believing? Reality is a closed system. We can't step out of it to view it, or verify it. Everything we know are reflections and appearances in consciousness. That's why I'm a Zen follower because Zen is 99% practice and 1% theory. What Am I doing here talking so much? Having a good time, passing the time, till is time to step out of time. What time is it know? Time for me to shut up. (: Pete Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus. You admit your mind is a closed system, which means it can't step out of itself to verify reality; and yet you declare that reality is open and clear. Is it not this declaration an unverifiable belief?

Guest guest
Pete, I don't know how to practice except ask who is practicing. And ask who forgot to practice when I notice I am not practicing. And then ask who is noticing I am not practicing and then I am practicing again. And then ask who is noticing I am practicing again. Which all proves little by little how foolish is attention. Foolish because it wavers, perhaps chaotically. Foolish for thinking it can persist. But who gave attention this foolish job security? Being is the Fool. Being is. Being. Be. .. Guest guest
If it works for you, what can be better? There isn't a practice that fits all. The thing is to let the mind rest, subside in itself. To accept, deeply to accept what happens at the moment. If it's activity, then let activity be. If it's silence, leave it along. If it's thought, amen to that. Don't seek, don't avoid. Let the mind rest in indiference, and soon without lifting a finger the mind would become indistinguishiable from the world. Whatever doing takes you to this non-doing is the right practice for you. By the way, i enjoyed your answer, wheather intentionally crafted that way or not, it's a nice poem.
