Guest guest
when you hear the poetic line " the deer becomes another glazed expression on the face of the lion, " how would you interpret that? are you the deer in awe of the lion, or the fearsome lion who's about to devour the deer? both or neither? 1. some mystics tell us " there is no you, it's all god's will. " you're NOTHING in relation to the richness of totality. 2. some other mystics tell us " I am the Truth and I am EVERYTHING. " My identity and essence are the same: Consciousness, which is the timeless , placeless, infinite existence. 3. and yet other mystic tell us there is only peaceful SILENCE. " nothing happens in my world. " there's no me, no god's will, no Truth, no imaginary Totality. personally i was attracted to advaita because of its core message that you are Consciousness...and when you let go off this ideal state of being the allmighty Consciousness, what is left? does NOTHING become an ideal state in the mind as well? hur
Guest guest
I believe your perceptions determine the world you live in. If fear or negativity is your predominant state, you see the deer as helpless and the lion as ruthless. However, each holds its own integrity and understands the fullness of life. Each teaches us how to live in the present moment without guilt from the past and without anticipation of the future. Copperbasil
