Yes , this it...I some times feel great relief in little insights into the total ambiguousness of " my character " ..the witnessing seems to happen, but only so deep and the rest is still me... me trying to feel better me after another, more, different basicly me being frightened and trying to escape so.... then... I try to go deeper, feel it more, whatever... ....but that's still the same old adventure in suffering and what I'm beginning to realise is that it ISN'T an adventure in suffering--- It's an adventure in the AVOIDANCE of suffering-- hey look at that: a void dance ....so now all that's left to do is be in this sense of something wrong, this fear of being only the body and senselessly expendable and go into that... find out if it's true: do I exist without the body why should I even hope so when the I of me is so pathetic and miserable? to feel this, be this wound )))))))Shawn

Yes, trying to escape the woundedness of this body, is just the me of this body trying to be somewhere else. Wanting this body to feel a certain way to make sure it's free is the common obsession -- regardless of which material or spiritual trip is tried. Freedom is not dependent on what this body feels or doesn't feel - nor on any body. Freedom is not attached to any body's body, nor is it anywhere else, other than the bodily. Just as is, all the bodily bodies, and freedom not picking or choosing, because freedom doesn't involve any separate bodies whatsoever -- never has ... never will ... -- Dan
