Hi Devi, I have read similar advice in many posts. You can pay attention to activity, but it's impossible to be on the look out for a future absence, such attitude of looking for results is the problem itself. It's good for the seeker to know that those silent blank spaces are it, but to search for them is to perpetuate the activity of the mind. There is no other way to rest than to stop. To see that the limited self is the activity of the mind,and to understand that any method, or posture is still within this activity, will by itself defuse the seeking and bring rest.
