Hi Devi,

I have read similar advice in many posts. You can pay attention to

activity, but it's impossible to be on the look out for a future

absence, such attitude of looking for results is the problem itself.

It's good for the seeker to know that those silent blank spaces are

it, but to search for them is to perpetuate the activity of the mind.

There is no other way to rest than to stop. To see that the limited

self is the activity of the mind, and to understand that any method, or

posture is still within this activity, will by itself defuse the

seeking and bring rest.

devi: hi you... i don't agree, but i don't believe we have any

control over anything including our thoughts, it's all Gods will...in

this universe there are certain laws...for example, for every problem

there is a solution and for every demand there is a supply,,,the only

problem i see in looking for results is possibly a dissappoint when

you loose your patioence in not getting the desired result immediatly.

if you don't look then you don't find..

devi: nisargaddata gave instruction on how to do the search..

devi: yes of course, stopping gets you there, but if that stopping

were so easy then many more people would be enlightened..so the

search is for a clue to how to get to that stopping..ok, right now i

want you to stop...if you could totally stop righ now, you would lose

all consiusness of your body...

maybe, for a very very special being, but most people have to do

something to get to that point of non-doing...

remindner: it took nisargatadda 3 years to get stopped..and that was

after he finished all his worldly duties to his family. after He met

His Guru, and after He followed the directions of His Guru...

i know that a process is needed for the general humanity...for the

new seeker even the above average seeker,,,your addressing very

mature seekers, ready to pop ones...
