Everything we do and say and write affects others unless they are freely Being the Self. Nothing deep and yet the deepest. I recently came upon the practice of Tonglen.... the interesting thing is that most western teachers of yoga will teach a form of breathing in the good and exhaling the bad, right? The buddhist practice of tonglen is the opposite. " It's not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out. " - somebody once said that, yeah? http://www.nonduality.com/tonglen.htm ))))))))))Shawn
Guest guest
Yes, I first came across this practice as part of Tibetan Buddhism some time ago through Sogyal Rinpoche. The practice is said to have healed many... I think it's much more powerful than the " in with the good, out with the bad " approach. Still it is a technique just the same. To paraphrase: " If ever there is any time delay between knowing what is true and being what you know, then you are moving toward Truth, but keeping yourself safe and separate from it. " " Rather than being a spiral, constantly moving toward Truth, be open to go straight in. " Toby > Toby, > > It's just love, vibes. Every moment choices are apparently made, it doesn't matter much whether you think you made them. The fruit ripens how it will. On the other hand, desire shapes destiny. )))))))))Shawn
Guest guest
Seems a somewhat cynical response from you Shawn.
