Guest guest
i don't do mainstream holidays but thanks for the happy wish, same to you. nisargadatta: you are not in the body, the body is in you! The mind is in you. They happen to you. They are there because you find them intersting..Your very nature has the infintie capacity to enjoy. It is full of zest and affection. It sheds its radiance on all that comes with its focus of awarenss and nothing is excluded. It does not know evil nor ugliness, it hopes, it trusts, it loves. ......... That which you are, your true self, you love it, and whatever you do, you do for your own happiness. To find it, to know it, to cherish it is you basic urge. Since time immemorial you loved yourself, but never wisely. Use your body and mind wisely in the service of the self, that is all. Be true to your own self, love your self absolutely. Do not pretend that you love others as yourself. Unless you have realized them as one with yourself, you cannot love them.Don't pretend to be what your not, don't refuse to be what you are. Your love of others is the result of self-knowlege, not its cause. Without self-realziation, no virtue is genuine. When you know beyond all doubting that the same life flows through all that is and you are that life, you will love all naturally and spontaneously. When you realize that the depth and fullness of your love or yourself, you know that evry living being and the entire u niverse are included in your affection. But when you look at anythng as separate fro myou, you cannot love it for you are afraid of it. Alienation causes fear and fear deepens alienation. Its a vicious circle. Only self-realziation can break it.
Guest guest
devi: you see the problem with humanoids is they don't know when enough is enough.... nisargadatta: look at it in terms of awareness devi: ok nisagadatta: Wider and deeper consciousness is *higher*, devi: agreed nisargadatta: All that lives, works for protecting, perpetuating and *expanding* consciousness. devi: exactly, yes nisargadatta: This is the world's sole meaning and purpose. It is the very essence of Yoga- devi: yes, yoga is essential on all planets. nisargadatta: ever raising the level of consciousness, discovery of new dimensions, with their properties, qualities and powers. devi: yes, thanks for saying that. nisargadatta: in that sense the entire universe becomes a school of Yoga. devi: hmm, a school of Yoga, brilliant, bravo pranams to you sri nisargadatta, without your wise teachings, i would be very lost among these mean and angry humanoids on this planet. is perfection the destiny of all human beings? nisargadatta: Of all living beings - ultimately. The possibility becomes a certainty when the notion of enlightenment appears in the mind. devi: oh, thats wonderful nisargaddata: Once a living being has heard and understood that deliverence is within his reach, he will never forgeot, for it is the first message from within. It will take roots and grow and in due course and take the blessed shape of the Guru....the mind goes astray, the mind returns home...the mind must know itself in every mood. NOthing is a mistake unless repeated.
