Guest guest
JDR: If you could achieve or attain enlightenment or anything else of real value by holding onto something, it would be total ruin. And you attempt to do it that way all the time. If you could simply reach inside into your innermost being and pull up everything that is so good and so perfect, you would take that and spread it all over your whole life to make your life really nice... and that is why no one can get in, when there is dishonesty. If dishonesty could access the innermost, people would corrupt themselves right to the innermost, whereas the way it is, they can only corrupt the outermost. The innermost is incorruptable. As soon as something corrupts in the outermost of conciousness, that part of conciousness is incapable of getting in. And that is good. Questioner: Did you say conciousness not getting in, is good? JDR: For the outermost conciousness that is presently distorted or twisted or corrupted, it is really good that it cannot reach in toward the innermost. There is no access inside. As soon as that allows itself to undistort and untwist until it returns to an original way of being, then outermost conciousness can easily just reach straight in. But then, the only reason it would reach straight in would be to simply give itself away to the innermost, without needing to get anything. The outermost would be recognizing that the innermost is worth more. Outermost conciousness would be giving itself away to the innermost, and that would allow the innermost to move and flow into the outermost. An exchange of flow would happen. The two would become one. The two would be integrated as one. And eventually there would be no innermost and outermost anymore. Once integrated, the two would become the same - they would become a unified whole.
