Guest guest
Hi bill! What a poet!! beautiful! You are right this poem describe reality. But I'm still curious. You say wake up now! Who is the one that is suppose to wake up? The consciousness or the Self; the pure being? If you are talking about the pur being forget it! it doesn't even know he is. He needs consciousness for that. If you say the consciousness must wake up... it can't only reality could truly be awake to it own awarness. The consciousness is the relection of Reality it Self. The Self seems not be aware of it self without the consciousness?!?!but you are right with your poem. What is there in pur-being?!?! a Mystery. I don't beleive in mysteries. I beleive that we are ignorant of what it is that's all, ignorant for now! for me to awaken to our true being is decovering the truth beyond the illusion of the reflection of our being. If we say that the pur being created the worlds. And you tell me, lets say, wake up, and I wake up into myself which is the pur being. That means that I would then be truly awaken and I would be the master of the universe. Walking in water, drinking fire, etc etc. Unlimited, truly awaken. Because I would truly be the pur being, the creator of the universe. but this is not the case. Most grand Masters do not have that kind of power or doesn't master life as described. Can we awaken as the pur being and at the same time be the slave of all manifestion that we ourself created?!? I have strong legs but I can't walk!!! I have extreme powers that I can't use. I have ultimate knowledge that I don't understand. I am The creator but I'm prisonner of my creation?!?! I have awaken to my true nature which might be unconscious consciousness or awarness itself but I can't pass trough a wall which I the (Self)created!! what a poor Self!! I don't think the final issue is in simple awakening. It must be join with the proof of that awakennig. Ultimate control over nature. Like Jesus (seemed) have done. etc. Most Grand Master of truth like in zen, just awakened to reality which is the Self yes but without controling the manisfetations of the Self. I is like you realising that you have legs but you still can't walk!! Maybe it is just the step before controling our legs? I is like you realising that you have legs but you still can't walk!! Maybe it is just the step before controling our legs? When you " wake up " then the appearance of the world changes. Doors are still doors, and walls are still walls, but your fundamental notion of reality undergoes a deep shift. Making money and walking on water cease to be issues. You wake to your heart's desire, and then find that everything conspires to support you in the unfolding of that. Does that answer your queston? -Bil -- In Nisargadatta , " Bill Rishel " <plexus@x> wrote: > > Ode to Humanity > > > In the Heart of the Essence Thy Song is singing > I flow beyond the Dream hear it Bright > Who am I but this Let Thine ears be wakened. > empty trace of Who art Thou, > Pure Delight? knowest not? > The Light within Thee > All the Ages are confounded quaking? > by the Synergy of Being > Nothing known, Lustre pure > Nothing seen, Silence deep > All is lost Endless evermore > In the Dream.
