Guest guest
THE PRACTICE. Where there is a sense of separation, there are words. But words do not bridge the gap. Be still and know that ~~~~~~~ I AM ~~~~~~~. That is the practice. Can be done in a line at a supermarket, when being frisked at a USA airport, anywhere, anytime. All the time. Time-less-ly. .. Guest guest
So full of divine potentiality Past the point of overflow, A liquid resonance melting All except that which we truly know. A pulsing ocean of stillness In deep suspension, we float, The gentle touch of this golden flower Plays such a soothing note. -Toby Nisargadatta , " el_002003 " <elizabethwells8@e...> wrote: THE PRACTICE. > > Where there is a sense of separation, > there are words. > > But words do not bridge the gap. > > Be still and know that > ~~~~~~~ I AM ~~~~~~~. > > That is the practice. > > > > > Can be done in a line at a supermarket, > when being frisked at a USA airport, > anywhere, anytime. > > All the time. > > Time-less-ly. > > > . Guest guest
Very beautiful. I like the last four lines alone as a poem: A pulsing ocean of stillness In deep suspension, we float, The gentle touch of this golden flower Plays such a soothing note. So pure. And *is* what it portrays. It floats gently in stillness. A golden flower. Wonderful. -Bill Toby [toby.wilson] Saturday, July 05, 2003 10:13 PM Nisargadatta Re: The Practice. Guest guest
I tend to agree, Bill. I prefer the last four lines on their own also... I thank you for the term " deep suspension " ... it came from one of your older posts, many moons ago... it had been sitting in the back of my mind as a pearl, just waiting to be placed within an appropriate treasure... > > Bill Rishel [sMTP:plexus] > Sunday, July 06, 2003 6:51 PM > Nisargadatta > RE: Re: The Practice. > > Very beautiful. > > I like the last four lines alone as a poem: > > A pulsing ocean of stillness > In deep suspension, we float, > The gentle touch of this golden flower > Plays such a soothing note. > > So pure. > And *is* what it portrays. > It floats gently in stillness. > A golden flower. > > Wonderful. > > -Bill > > > > Toby [toby.wilson] > Saturday, July 05, 2003 10:13 PM > Nisargadatta > Re: The Practice. > > > So full of divine potentiality > Past the point of overflow, > A liquid resonance melting > All except that which we truly know. > A pulsing ocean of stillness > In deep suspension, we float, > The gentle touch of this golden flower > Plays such a soothing note. > > -Toby > > > Nisargadatta , " el_002003 " > <elizabethwells8@e...> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > THE PRACTICE. > > > > Where there is a sense of separation, > > there are words. > > > > But words do not bridge the gap. > > > > Be still and know that > > ~~~~~~~ I AM ~~~~~~~. > > > > That is the practice. > > > > > > > > > > Can be done in a line at a supermarket, > > when being frisked at a USA airport, > > anywhere, anytime. > > > > All the time. > > > > Time-less-ly. > > > > > > . > > > > ** > > If you do not wish to receive individual emails, to change your > subscription, sign in with your ID and go to Edit My Groups: > > </mygroups?edit=1> > > Under the Message Delivery option, choose " No Email " for the Nisargadatta > group and click on Save Changes. > > >
