The Coast

The horizon

is an elongated wish,

The sea whip up the foam,

My face is wet,

My lips, salty.

I open my mouth

and a seagull cries.

The win slaps me around

as if to awaken me,

It wants me to understand.

But what?

Maybe the solitude,

Perhaps the silence.

Understanding

So that is what I am?

Self, dissolving in self.

Ever more wispy,

Losing, finding,

forgetting, fading

forever.

Best wishes,

Pete
