Very interesting, hmmm.

I recently read Aziz' take on the " I " of our dreams:

" In the dream state, the sense of Me is usually completely dispersed

in the projections of the subconscious mind. In the dream, one

experiences fears and joy, suffering and pleasure but rarely refers

in a clear way to the sense of Me. "

Would the subtle ego then identify with the subtle body? We still

maintain a body image in dreams although we lose the restrictions of

the physical world. Could the wonderful feeling be due to the ego

having it's restrictions removed? I'm more inclined to believe upon

waking we experience pure awareness for a split second then over the

next few moments the ego reasserts itself.

It was one then the other. I was first lost with the identical

feeling of being is the dream state which was a wonderful (blissful)

feeling. This was a new thing to have happen fully awake. When I

noticed this it was like I had broken the hard focus of the physical

almost like after having a couple of drinks but there was no flavor

of intoxication. More that I was experiencing from a deeper place

than usual.

> Don't avoid anything. Being interested (as you seem to be) in your

own prosess is the important thing here. Who feels grounded? When

you are lost, are you " grounded " ?

Good and the point is to be aware, not to drift or spend the day

lost in thought. I think the main method of escaping the physical

focus if this daydreaming of getting lost in thoughts. I think we

yearn for the bliss of sleep while maintaining awareness is work and

for many reminds us of our unpleasant situation in life.
