the supposition of an ego

All objectivity, as such, is unreal - except in that, being integral in

consciousness, it must be a derivative of reality therein.

It follows that all subjectivity, as such, is real - except when, being

envisaged and so becoming a concept, it is thereby an object, and so -

unreal, which is the process of identification, which produces the

supposition of an ego.

Hello Bill,

Could you please tell me which of Wei Wu Wei's books your quote comes

from ? I have read most of his books but can't recall that particular

quote. Thanks

Glad to hear of someone who even knows who Wei Wu Wei is,

let alone someone who is very familiar with his writing.

Glad to meet you!

Hello Bill,

Nice to meet you as well. I have read Wei Wu Wei for many years, &

consider his writings of great help in understanding some of the

obscure sayings & teachings of the various sages.

His books are hard to find as many are out of print & some are very

expensive due to their rarity. Some of his books have been re-

published recently however, though I can't remember offhand who is

publishing them. If you are interested in knowing I can find out.

Best regards,

P.S.
