Analyzing concepts and verbalising it only distances us from Truth

Hi folks.

Having just joined this group, and received few emails, I'm struck by

one peculiarity of your messages, and it is this:

However much we analyze, verbalise or do mental gymnastics in order

to 'get there' or 'realise the non-experience', we only push

ourselves further from it. How do we do that?

The truth will only be 'realised' now. Sure, you've heard that. But

the more you talk about it, discuss it and analyze it, that much less

you are just BEING present, in silence, now. I admit it's fashinating

to discuss the understanding of Truth with your mates, but as long as

you are tied up in that, that much longer you have to wait it to

happen.

1) Stop thinking/talking about it.

2) Allow this moment just be.

3) Be yourself, in complete acceptance of whatever may be going on.

4) Be true to yourself.

Ain't that difficult. Maybe the most difficult is the first one. To

actually stop the need of convincing 'others' (reflections of

yourself) that you are right, or you've grasped the point.

It's all waste of time. What you are doing in reality, is conversing

with your mirror image. How often do you talk to your mirror in

bathroom about these things? Thats what you are doing in internet.

Instead of being truly present here and now, you engage into mental

gymnastics, without end.

Can you shut this computer down now, and leave the room? Can you go

and sit somewhere and be still? Can you let it all go, now? I doubt.

Are 'we' a society dependant of mental stimulation and psychic circus?

Rest folks.

Johannes

I for one "love" to leave the computer and be still.

And how can anything distance us from Truth?

That really *is* an oxymoron!

Mind Games

We're playing those mind games together

Pushing the barriers, planting seeds

Playing the mind guerrilla

Chanting the mantra, peace on earth

We all been playing those mind games forever

Some kinda druid dudes lifting the veil

Doing the mind guerrilla

Some call it magic, the search for the grail

Love is the answer and you know that for sure

Love is a flower, you got to let it, you got to let it grow

So keep on playing those mind games together

Faith in the future, outta the now

You just can't beat on those mind guerrillas

Absolute elsewhere in the stones of your mind

Yeah we're playing those mind games forever

Projecting our images in space and in time

Yes is the answer and you know that for sure

Yes is surrender, you got to let it, you got to let it go

So keep on playing those mind games together

Doing the ritual dance in the sun

Millions of mind guerrillas

Putting their soul power to the karmic wheel

Keep on playing those mind games forever

Raising the spirit of peace and love

Love...

(I want you to make love, not war, I know you've heard it before)
