Guest guest
In short what in your opinion is " Nothingness " ? And what are its properties, if any? The fact that we have a name for it means we aknowledge its presence, so why not a description too? If we agree that the universe has two main aspects, namely, " Energy Particles " and " Static Space " (Form and Emptiness), can we assume that initially Form emerges out of Emptiness? And if so, how can we explain that these dynamic energy particles are created out of Nothingness? Some say it is the power of Love, God or Self, or vajrayana's spheres etc...but do any of these names really satisfy your playful curiosity? What word will you use for what doesn't have any qualities, and can't be represented by a word? > If we agree that the universe has two main aspects, namely, " Energy > Particles " and " Static Space " (Form and Emptiness), can we assume > that initially Form emerges out of Emptiness? Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. You can't as form emerge out of something, unless something has formed into which you can emerge. > And if so, how can we > explain that these dynamic energy particles are created out of > Nothingness? The mind that depends on opposing something and nothing dissolves, when nonopposition is clear. > Some say it is the power of Love, God or Self, or vajrayana's spheres > etc...but do any of these names really satisfy your playful > curiosity? Some say that nothing was ever created or destroyed. If nothing ever came into being, nothing ever went out of being -- except for a mind that takes itself as a something, with a location, by opposing something and nothing. -- Dan

Nothingness, Emptiness, Self......though you are saying; we can only talk about things that have quality, but you fail to point where the " quality " itself comes from! > > If we agree that the universe has two main aspects, namely, " Energy > > Particles " and " Static Space " (Form and Emptiness), can we assume > > that initially Form emerges out of Emptiness? > > Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. Guest guest
Hi, Parsa. What a fine bunch of opinions you have there. Maybe you should talk to Ganga about them -- she's much smarter than me about these things. -- Dan Nisargadatta , " Parsa " <parsa_neekdel> wrote: > Nisargadatta , " dan330033 " <dan330033> > wrote: > > Nisargadatta , " Parsa " <parsa_neekdel> > > wrote: > > > In short what in your opinion is " Nothingness " ?
