Guest guest
First edition. (I am not sure if there is any other edition). on page 120 towards the bottom of the page. Maharaj: 1) You are aware of your feelings , thoughts , doing but 2) You are not aware of your BEING. I can very clearly understand first sentence. I live in that state most of the time. Second sentence I do not understand. Has Maharaj or any of his disciples like Ramesh Balsekar talked about it with some examples. What is aware of being ? thanks Direndra
Guest guest
Dear b. If you aware of being or not, in both cases you can't tell what it is. And - who cares ? What is aware of being ? thanks Direndra KKT: << aware of your BEING >> = aware of the feeling << I AM >> which is the feeling of existence, the profound feeling of beingness. The feeling << I AM >> is self-evident, isn't it? KKT

Sat chit ananda. To stay with the feeling I AM, you must isolate the " I am " from the " what I am not. " When we get caught up being who we think we are, it is because we *identify* with thoughts and feelings. We call them " my " thoughts and " my " feelings but we do not posess them as much as we are posessed *by* them. We become so identified with our " position, " our feelings, our thoughts, that we are actually no longer present to life, no longer free as consciousness. We are being our personality out of habit, out of unconsciousness.Who we think we are is a bunch of memories. To become aware of " being " is the practice, by seeing clearly all that is not " you. " )))))))Shawn
Guest guest
Dear Era, 1. You used the phrase " way to advanced " , can you tell me where to adavance from and where to advance to and who is that who will advance ? 2. And can anyone tell me how it feels not to be aware of being ? Can you tell it, Era ? Can you tell me how it feels not to be enlightened ? 3. What do you mean with " under the protection of Ramesh's nofreewill " ? 4. I do not know what vichara is and please don't explain it to me. Guest guest
Thanks all and Shawn in particular. If that is the case then being aware of your being is what Buddha calls " Annata " . Emptiness, void, pure consciousness ... It being a practice also makes sense to me. I have read maharaj only today and came accross this group. what i am sharing with u is my understanding about the teachings of maharaj what i read today from consciuosness to absolute excerpts. I feel that being is a state of awareness that all that u are aware of is nothing but the consiousness experiencing itself. All emotions are expressions of consciousness. So just be aware about this that consciousness is all that is and be rooted in the witness. Regards Prabhu
