Guest guest
dear Pete, i want you to have a little more material to criticize my position, so there is no misunderstanding but simply a gentlemanly definition of two different schools :-) 1. stillness does not happen, the mind cannot see stillness clearly, stillness is not a product of experience, sadhana, meditation or a shock, it is not the stoppping of the mind (how would the mind see it anyway then), intelligence and understanding and feelings are one more form that the mind takes in its ever costume changing, expounding this stillness of the mind you describe only the mind. 2. stillness is the place where we live from, we fight and we giggle and scream and laugh but this experiences are encompassed in stillness; maybe some, lucky, among us can at times see that they are engaged in great turmoil but that stillness has never left them at no moment; this seeing is the only sadhana i know of. eric (sorry it is a little hasty and non-native english)
