Such teachings are of no use. To think one prepares for the moment of death, by having a teaching to bring into it, is to mistake what death actually is. Death is fully present, now. There is no birth without death. One moment of birth (of a sensation, perception, memory, thought, action) is the moment of death. Trying to bring a teaching with you into the unknown, is merely the activity called " anxiety about the unknown. " That there is, in truth, no such thing as bringing a teaching with you, into " this, " might lead to laughter, or a sigh, who knows? That you have never separated, to be going through an experience of dying, for which you could require a teaching, perhaps doesn't even involve a sigh. Peace, Danielitosan
