Jesus is my good buddy.

He made clear that the truth is freely open

to any one that is ready to die via sincerity.

No " ism, " no " meditation " no " intellectualizing "

no making a show of being " enlightened "

-- just *clarity* that is not obtained

by merit, actions, nor from this world,

and not from another -- simply directly

according to readiness.

The meaning you asked for is to be, without

one's own being --

to be thoroughly dead, that one's

life is now timeless, nondurational.

To reach the point you can't pass through,

and instantly *know* what it is to be

beyond it, while remaining here.

Through the eye of a needle,

Dan

God be praised, friend!

I thought you had become a Christian.

Forgive me for such lack of faith. I'm always

suspitious of people dangling eternal life in front of my

nose. by Life, of course, we mean consciousness, unless we

are into botany big time. Consciousness is a side show, anyway.

The Buddha and Maharaj claimed Paranirvana or Parabhradman was

beyond. Neither consciousness nor not consciousness, but I bore you

with this well known details.

Enjoy the side show,

Pete

Oh, ye of little faith!

:-)

And thanks for sharing the boredom...

My buddy Jesus knew Qabala, which includes

the teaching that all that is

manifests from no-thing,

called " ayn. "

So " ayn " (no-thing) is beyond the concept of

God which is offered for those

requiring some kind of positive

Being.

Hence the teaching about passing

through the eye of the needle,

as it is said one must pass through

the primal point (the rich man

who can't pass being the mind

of concepts).

but the word eye in " eye of the needle " belongs to english language i

don't know what we have in aramaic for " eye of the needle " (anybody

knows?); could be " hole " , " door " , " pass " according to a language

constructing of daily tools; i french the " chas " of a needle is used

and " chas " means cavity, trunk (??!!) as seen in english " chest "

I thought, that accent here is not the language, but on the camel

who will not fit through a small gate

again: straight is way and narrow...

It's so small it has no dimension.

No thing can get through.

Yet, you're through.

You can't get through, though, as long

as you are the baggage you're holding.

" Unless you become as a child, you will

not know the kingdom of heaven. "

" You must die, and be reborn. "

" So is each that is born of spirit. "

" Behold, all things are made new. "

" I come as a thief in the night. "

" In the twinkling of an eye, all is changed. "

I'm glad to hear you still enjoy hearing yourself talk.

I'm enjoying your enjoyment of your wit!

That's an artform, Pete!

I see here in my Bible, that when the tower of

Babble On fell, that never stopped you!

Ah, the brook of life babbles on,

Ah, dear poor friend,

You mean to tell me you don't enjoy writing your

lenghty explanations of the obvious?

You mean you wallpaper all these lists with your emails

hating every minute of it?

Please, don't torture yourself on my account. I hate

seeing you suffer to save the world.

It does brake my heart to see you dragging that heavy cross.

Where did I put them nails?

Is that what I mean to tell you? Okay, thanks for

letting me know what I mean to tell you. What would

I do without you to tell me what I mean?

> You mean you wallpaper all these lists with your emails

Thanks for letting me know what I'm doing, Pete, you're

really helpful that way.

> Please, don't torture yourself on my account. I hate

Thanks for telling me what not to do. You're a regular

fount of wisdom of what other people are up to.

> It does brake my heart to see you dragging that heavy cross.

> Where did I put them nails?

Okay, so now the mind of Pete has me dragging a cross.

Thanks for the view into the ever-fascinating mind of Pete,

as it constructs images of what other people really mean

to say, what they are really doing, and the nails Pete

would like to drive into their bodies.

Great entertainment, the unresolved issues that constitute Pete :-)
