I am aware of the venom that will come my way; but this being has

survived much more then curses and hatred. As much value as i place

in this group, even more dismay arises from the mis-use of some with

a bit of knowledge and alot of conceit. Insulting and abusing

members is not only non-helpfull but an insult to the True Masters

and at least some of us who know we do not know all, but are sincere

in our love for that part of non-duality that we do understand. Even

worse is that this feeding frenzy of negitivity brings Judi to

consume the blooded with her hatred in the guise of a misunderstood

teacher. As a refuge of the ignorant, i result to quoting

Nisargadatta: Did I ever tell you that you do not know and,

therefore, you are inferior? Let those who invented such

distinctions prove them. I do not claim to know what you do not. In

fact, I know much less than you do....... So, bring it on, i can

take

it, but i will not confuse it as wisdom. Nameste: john

and by " i can take it " you mean

- you won't dodge

- you won't run away

- you won't get upset

- you won't get stuck on personal issues

- you will answer patiently

- you will show a real example of what should be a good behavior here

right?

i'll watch, i'll watch

Well said john, I would just like to add this quote from isa upanishad

" .....Vidya (knowledge) might lead a person towards realizing the

goal, but the people under the veil of vidya maya are difficult to

convince about the nature of their ignorance. For, just by reading,

hearing, or reasoning about the Truth they think and are convinced

that they have realized the Self! Under this false sense of

achievement they go on teaching and telling others, and also start

behaving as if they have realized the Truth. These people without

applying themselves to austerities, tapas, renunciation, and

spiritual practices delude themselves and harm others as well.

Therefore, it is said that those who pride themselves under the

influence of vidya knowledge actually are pushed more and more into

the darkness of ignorance.

Therefore, it is said, " He who knows these two - both vidya and

avidya together - attains immortality by transcending them...(Verse

11.) "

Suggest,.........an extensive usage of the del key.

The worst poison is the poison of knowing who one is.

If you get one drop of it anywhere on your skin,

it sinks in and will never leave.

It dissolves everything you thought you were,

and offers nothing to replace it with!
