in any case no need to consult Sandeep, he didn't say that compassion

is a virtue, like intelligence or courage,...

compassion is not in any case something you own, like a virtue;

and anything you own, like intelligence or courage is of little value;

and how about vanity?

someone would 'have' it...

and someone else would not 'have' it...

let's say Werner, you decide i am vain (i know you didn't say or

imply it, just as an hypothesis)... but me, on the other hand, how

ever hard you try, i don't see that...

just like a wall you say is white and the wall doesn't care...

so we just found out that when you decide that someone is vain:

- you must want the person to be 'hit' by such a remark (but what in

you would want to 'hit')

- and the receiver must feel 'hit' by your judgement (judgement is a

virtue too)

somehow you must have established a relationship where each is the

miror of the other, and if you said 'eric is vain', eric cares about

your opinion so something in him will change...

something will change,

if not he vanity at least the ability to hide his vanity...

you will increase eric's hypocrisy!

see where we arrive with a simple judgement?

werner you thought you just said someone is vain but in the process

you got entangled in a twisted relationship with a hypocrit.

eric :-)

ps: ok juss kidding don't answer this one, i know you don't feel like

it anyway ;-)
