Shirley Maclaine's book, " My Lives " has inspired me to come to non-

duality;

i reread it almost every week and it is an endless source of

inspiration and comfort;

Shirley (i call her like that), came where i live last year for her

new book " Out On A Leash " ; i could not approach her because of the

crowd but at one point she looked in my direction and our eyes

crossed and something went right through me like a dagger of love, i

can say humbly that i have never been the same since then. in this

book Shirley explains the nature of reality and love, how to love the

real and how to be real when you love. i could read you here entire

passages you would cry and laugh as i do whenever i open it; i have

the tapes too and her warm voice helps me to go to sleep in peace and

wake up in the morning with new ideas about my future.

what makes Shirley (i love to write and pronounce her name) very

special among the great guides of humankind is that she can sing and

dance beautifully; and Jesus the Christ (whom i respect as much as

Shirley) never danced or sing, at least not in the book i read about

him (a thick book, i read a part only).

on her site on the internet (that is, here, where you are reading

this) she says as an introduction: " This site is a reflection of my

world; always in transition and always in search of truth. " ....

do you know the amount of courage and questionning it takes to say
