Guest guest
yes observation works and you wake up one day with a big chunk of crazy mind missing, and the silence that is born works like a huge sucking vaccum and suddenly you hear the world's voices ten times louder, the silenter you go the louder the crowd... from my observation a big number of people have undergone such massive shutting down of mind just on this list or NDS, when you read them it's obvious... i wonder why there are so few in Paris around me though? i mean none. i have no idea what part of the population 'gets' it, 1% maybe... then again what people call liberation, totally freed from fear of death, i have no idea what they mean... what i observe (whether i like it or not) are the surges of emotions (anger, fear, etc.) the rest of the time i'm like a baby in limbo i feels great and i don't care about anything existing. :-) erix
Guest guest
Is feeling emotions a problem for you? And for whom are you afraid? And what brings this fear? Death, pain, lost, loneliness? You know not feeling fear is great. Something bad happens to your body or your finances and it's like it happened to someone you don't know. But on the other hand, things that need to be taking care of tend to be a little neglected. And that might not be so great for longevety or the finances' of the family. Fear was put there to protect life, so it's a healthy reaction, if the mind doesn't feed it. Guest guest
in this experience it seems that emotions are the most immediate connection to the world, so where life will be felt most, for others it will be a contact with " the divine " or " the misery of the world " or " a relationship to symbols and words " (your case?); i mean the way that people will suddenly realize that the separate me doesn't exist,... everything that works, works erix Nisargadatta , " seesaw1us " <seesaw1us> wrote: > Is feeling emotions a problem for you?
