The way the Buddha is talked about, as if

he was so utterly extraordinary...

But Buddha Mind must be the most utterly ordinary.

So hard/easy to miss, the utterly ordinary.

When *seeing itself* is naked

I'm a non-smoker Dawg.

You really don't get that?

The notion that there might be obfuscating enclutterments to

the perceptual process?

It is another way of speaking of vulnerability.

When we see without guile.

When we see with simplicity, with innocence.

We we see " as little children " .

When *seeing itself* is naked.

Stripped of all sophistication.

You keep on insisting that I get something. You write: " You really

don't get that? " What? What is there to get?

There is nothing to get. There is no you. There is no me. There is

nothing for a me to see or that can be obfuscated. There is no me to

begin with. Forget about it.

All of your arguments are useless. To resist is futile.

What is it you seek from these people, Bill? Do you think Suzuki or

Dear Dananandasan,

Morning curiosity and this fresh spring air wiffling so swell and

plump with this, I would inquire of you, " What makes you think that

Bill's " seeking " something from others, and not merely reveling in

the common joy of this with friends and dream-dancing bears...more,

I'd swear, it's a swarupa swing-dance of the chance that we can gauge

what it is that another's motives are for anything, and/or their

intentions or inclinations or insatiations or elations, are. Oh yeah,

I forgot, (and here I'll be a brat-cat) " You read 'em.

Maybe Bill " realizes " that there's nothing that anyone can sell to

him. There is nothing to be bought or sold or bartered or stolen.

Whether anyone, Sri Nisargadatta, Suzuki, Sandeep, or you, have a

clue, I'm in no kind of position to know this. (I may imagine I know,

teehee) What Knows will not tell me, and what Knows just compels me

to uncompellingly uncomplain about the terrain of the trip, the yap

of the yip, or the blip of the Heart that imparts the art of

This...sometimes without need of animated danananda gifs giving THE

final lowdown who is or is not Le Clown. La Clown de La Coeur...ah,

Amore Amore and it's not my intention to get all sappy, just happy to

say these things on this fine Spring day.

Love to You, Danananda, Dearest,

Mazie

Nisarghadatta, Meister Eckhart,Ramana Maharishi, Eckhart Tolle - they all give

the same message. Some of us, interested inthis subject, understand at least

intellectually, what they are saying. For most however, its gobbledegook.

The Buddha once said that its important to know that there is a concept called

enlightenment.People who can't accept or know that such a concept exists, will

find these teachings meaninless.

To seekers, the teachings of theMasters provide valuable clues to the path to

enlightnment. Personally, I believe, that if we have to make any progress in

this field, we have to put in a fair amount of effort. I've found meditation to

be an extremely useful tool and over the years, I've managed to do it

regularily. It gradually deepens your understanding and most importantly, it

quietens the mind. Without some form of meditation to quieten the mind, I

personally don't think we can make any progress.

Nisarghadatta keeps saying, be the watcher of the thinker - its easier said than

done for the worldly person. Eckhart Tolle says the same thing. After many years

of regular meditation, I'm able to do this some of the time and it makes an

enormous difference to one's life.

I'd be glad to hear of the experiences others have had in this line.

has something to give you? What? Neither one of those guys had a

clue. I read em both. They're full of crap. They're hustlers, con

men. Just like those preachers on TV. Or, in the archdiocese. Etc.

Mazie
