Instant past

Think of yourself as zero seconds away from sefl ware consciousness,

the Timeless Observer. You never move away from this timeless

position. This is your real Self.

 

Now, observe that everything else is only a changing past, and that

you as the observer never can change the past. Also notice that this

past only exists now in the same " space " as your present awareness.

This means that the past is instantly created in the now. There is no

such thing as time, there is only a past created now.

 

Elvis Presley, Marylin Monroe, George W Bush, Donald Duck, You as an

8 year old child, your great great grandmother, your neigbour, your

children, your parents, Britney Spears, Adolf Hitler, the great

pyramids at Giza, your present body, your thoughts and feelings; all

of this is a past created now.

 

So, who is dead, and who is alive? :-)

 

The answer is that everything is dead except your self awareness. The

whole physical world is unreal to the core. Not unreal as an

experience of it, but unreal in the sense that physical objects and

bodies actually exist and can be destroyed or die. How can a past

existing NOW die? Isn't a past already dead? Abraham Lincoln is as

much alive as your present body is alive; both exist only as the past

being created NOW. The past is only a ripple in timeless

consciousness existing only in the timeless NOW.
