Guest guest
Total freedom is to realize that the physical world has no substance. Nothing in the physical world can hurt you other than as a bad dream. You are pure awareness, forever untouched by the display of Maya - the physical world. You have to understand that the physical world is only a Matrix for you to enjoy as entertainment. You don't need to fear what is but a projected past. You have to let it all go; fear, doubt and disbelief. Let me remind you that you are zero seconds away from pure awareness and that the physical world forever and ever is more than zero seconds away from you: it is thus forever GONE. That which has already happened cannot hurt you. Free your mind. :-) /AL

I short, what is there to be afraid of? << Anders, " fear " is a powerfull force as well as the search for pleasure. The point concerning fear is, in my opinion, that you can't resolve it, if it constitutes a problem, only by changing a point of view on a very abstract level. It might help a while, but it isn't a solution. I'm not saying your point of view is wrong in large and generally, but, " freedom " can't be equated just to state, where fear is absent. I know, it's like heaven, when pain or fear disappears but, how long does it last until another form of fear pops up by, God knows, which circumstances in life? To overcome some vicious or neurotical habits, autodestructive tendencies and self-sabotaging attitudes can't be equated to " total freedom " , despite the fact, it might be felt so at the beginning. I really don't know what you mean with " total freedom " . You could perhaps try to define it. Permit yourself the freedom to have fear! sk

Human beings are nothing but the Universe itself. How can the Universe be afraid of itself other than as a temporary nightmare? :-) /AL

This already is the other side. I don't understand what you mean by " one side " and " the other side " . As I see it awareness is the base and the Source of existence. /AL

Thus, transcendence is now the case. However the universe presents, even as a nightmare, never involves actually becoming an other to itself. -- Dan
