Well, I have no idea where the tapes are, but if there are no books

of Maharaj in his own native language, that is a shame. And since you

know both English and Marathi, your duty is clear, you must translate

at least one book.

That was going to be my suggestion, sandeep. My memory is that there

were Marathi editions at Chetana. But my memory could be in error.

Of course memory itself may be an error. I do have tapes of sessions

in both English and Marathi. The Quality and background noise makes it

difficult to understand. Another is working on cleaning up the

noise. One other idea is to contact the Univ, of Penn. They teach

Marathi and may have Maharaj books in the native language. John---

Yes they will either have the Marathi works or know how to access them.

Signatures in flowing waters have teemed in the language of Marathi, what with

Jnaneshwar, Tukaram,Nisargadatta, Ramesh, Dado, Shirdi Sai and a whole plethora

of other " dignitaries " , swinging to the beat

4 of the 12 Jyotilings of Shiva are located in the state of Maharashtra.

The famous or infamous (depending on your POV) Osho Ashram is in Maharashtra.

Guest guest

thank you nandan, this is a great scholarly news for those who have

been asking me about the marathi version of maharaj's satsangs which

have been compiled and edited by brilliant scholars such as mr

dikshit, frydman, powell...and many others.
